The Complete Guide to the British Peerage & Baronetage
Cracroft's Peerage is the only digital source that has accurate listings (and in many cases detailed narrative pedigrees) of all peerages and baronetcies created in the British Isles since the thirteenth century. Making the most of your visit
Cracroft's Peerage contains over 3,000 pages of information and so I strongly suggest that you make use of the powerful search function. To do this, click on "Search this site", which is the first choice in the navigation bar at the top of this page. Alternatively, you can use any of the choices in the navigation bar as a starting-point to browse your way around the website as the mood takes you. The navigation bar is repeated at the top of every page in Cracroft's Peerage.
I have made available a series of topical forums on the Cracroft's Peerage website. They can be accessed from the menu bar at the top of this page. This is very much to improve communications between myself and the users and also between the users themselves. I am hoping it will prove very popular. I have used the Phorum open-source forum software, which has the great advantage over beter known forum software such as phpBB of providing threaded postings.
In November 2012 there were 20,613 visitors to Cracroft's Peerage who between them looked at 51,360 pages. Of these, 15,542 visitors only looked at 1 page, but 5,071 visitors looked at an average of just over 7 pages each. I hope your visit has been equally worthwhile. If you have any comments or questions, then please do not hesitate to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I am always interested in receiving suggestions for new articles or topics to be included in future releases of Cracroft's Peerage. And finally, please do consider making a donation, however small, to The Peerage Research Trust. As they say, every little bit helps!
