Quarterly:  1st and 4th, Azure three Sinister Gauntlets Or (Vane);  2nd and 3rd, Quarterly:  I and IV, Quarterly France and England; II, Scotland;  III, Ireland (being the arms of King Charles II) charged on the centre point with a Baton Sinister Ermine (FitzRoy)

Crests:

1st:  A Dexter Gauntlet proper bossed and rimmed Or brandishing a Sword also proper (Vane);  2nd:  On a Chapeau Gules turned up Ermine a Lion passant guardant Or gorged with a Collar compony Ermine and Azure and crowned with a five leaved Ducal Coronet Gold (FitzRoy)

Supporters:

Dexter:  A Lion guardant Or crowned and gorged as in the Crest;  Sinister:  A Greyhound Argent collared as the dexter

On the death of the 4th Duke of Cleveland the Barony of Barnard passed to a distant cousin, Henry de Vere Vane, who succeeded as 9th Baron Barnard, descended from a younger brother of the 1st Earl of Darlington, and the rest of his titles became extinct.
