Arms:

The Royal Arms as borne by Queen Victoria differenced by a Label of three points Argent the centre point charged with a Cross Gules and each of the other points with a Fleur de lis Azure; in the centre of the said Royal Arms an Escutcheon of the August House of Saxony, viz., barry of ten Or and Sable a Crown of Rue in bend Vert

Crest:

On a Coronet composed of Crosses Pattée and Fleurs-de-lis a Lion statant guardant Or crowned with a like Coronet and differenced with a Label of three points as in the Arms

Supporters:

The Royal Supporters differenced with a like Coronet and Label

 

Note: These are the differenced version of the Royal Arms assigned by Royal Warrant to the 1st Duke of Connaught and Strathearn - the inescutcheon of Saxony was dropped in 1917. His three children were each assigned a differenced version of the Royal Arms: in 1904 Prince Arthur of Connaught was assigned the Royal Arms with over all a Label of five points Argent charged on the centre and outer points with a Cross of St George Gules and on the two inner points a Fleur de lis Azure; in 1905 Princess Margaret of Connaught was assigned the Royal Arms with over all a Label of five points Argent charged on the centre point with a Cross of St George Gules on the two outer points a Fleur de lis Azure and on the two inner points a Trefoil slipped Vert; and in 1919 Princess Patricia of Connaught (later Lady Patricia Ramsay) was assigned the Royal Arms with over all a Label of five points Argent charged on the two outer points with a Cross of St George Gules and on each of the other points a Fleur de lis Azure. In 1942 the 2nd Duke of Connaught and Strathearn was granted: Quarterly, 1st and 4th, as his grandfather, 2nd and 3rd, quarterly 1st and 4th, Or a Lion rampant Gules (Fife), 2nd and 3rd, Vert a Fess dancettée Ermine between in chief a Stag's Head cabossed and in base two Escallops Or (Duff)
