1st:  On a Mount Vert a Goat's Head erased Argent (Ellis);  2nd:  A Dexter Hand holding an Annulet in which is set a Carbuncle proper (Scott)

Supporters:

On either side a Lion Argent charged on the neck with three Trefoils slipped Vert within a Collar gemelle Gules

On the death of James [Howard], 3rd Earl of Suffolk and 3rd Baron Howard de Walden on 7 Jan 1688, the Barony of Howard de Walden fell into abeyance between his two daughters:  (1) Lady Essex Griffin, wife of Edward [Griffin], 1st Baron Griffin; and her half-sister (2) Lady Elizabeth Felton, wife of Sir Thomas Felton, 4th Bt., of Playford, co. Suffolk.  The abeyance was terminated 3 Aug 1784 in favour of the senior coheir

On his death the Barony of Braybrooke devolved on his distant cousin in accordance with the special remainder and the Barony of Howard de Walden fell into abeyance between his sister, Mary Whitwell, wife of Dr William Parker later Griffin DD, and the descendants of Lady Elizabeth Felton.  On the death of Mrs Griffin on 17 Nov 1799 without children there were no surviving descendants of Lady Essex Griffin and so the right to the Barony of Howard de Walden passed to:

On the death of the 9th Baron Howard de Walden the Barony of Howard de Walden fell into abeyance between his four daughters and the Barony of Seaford passed to his cousin, Colin Humphrey Felton Ellis, who succeeded as 6th Baron Seaford.  On 25 Jun 2004 the Barony of Howard de Walden was called out of abeyance in favour of:
