The Lordship of Livingston was held by the Earls of Linlithgow from 25 Dec 1600 until 17 Feb 1715/6, when on the attainder of James [Livingston], 5th Earl of Linlithgow, 11th Lord Livingston, etc., for high treason all his titles were forfeited to the Crown.
