Quarterly:  1st and 4th, Per chevron Argent and Sable a Chevron engrailed Ermine between three Trefoils slipped counterchanged (Loftus);  2nd and 3rd, Gyronny of eight Argent and Sable a Saltire engrailed between four Fleur-de-lis the stems converging towards the centre all counterchanged (Loftus)


A Boar's Head erased and erect Argent langued Gules


On either side an Eagle wings inverted charged on the breast with a Trefoil all proper

The Viscountcy of Loftus was held by the Earls of Ely from 23 Oct 1766 until 12 Nov 1769, when on the death of Nicholas [Hume-Loftus], 2nd Earl of Ely, 3rd Viscount Loftus, etc., the Earldom of Ely became extinct and the Viscountcy of Loftus passed to his uncle,
