Arms of Sir Anthony Browne KG, father of the 1st Viscount Montagu

The marshalling of these arms is somewhat unusual compared with modern

practice.  The first quarter is Browne quartering FitzAlan and Maltravers.

The second quarter is Neville, Montagu, Monthermer and Plantagenet of Kent.

The next five quarterings come from Sir Anthony's maternal grandmother. They are

Tiptoft, Cherleton, Ingaldesthorpe, Bradestone and de Burgh.
