Note: The WinHelp version of Cracroft's Peerage will NOT run under either Windows Vista or Windows 7. To enable it to run under either of these versions of Windows you will need to download the WinHelp driver from the Microsoft website.

Please click on the link below to download the WinHelp version of Cracroft's Peerage onto your computer. Choose the option "Save" to download and save the file. We recommend that you open a sub-directory called "My Downloads" within your "My Documents" directory and save the file there. Once the download has finished close any visible pop-up or message boxes. Using the Windows Explorer utility on your computer, view the sub-directory "My Downloads" (or whichever directory or sub-directory you have used to save the update file) and double-click on the downloaded update file to start the installation process. Your computer will safely guide you through this process.

Please note that the file you are about to download is about 34MB in size. We have no reason to suppose that this file contains any viruses that will contaminate your computer in any way. Download times will take between approximately 40 minutes on a 28 kbs connection to about 7 minutes on broadband, both depending upon the availability of local lines and connections.
