On the death of the 1st Marquess Curzon of Kedleston the Marquessate, Earldom and Irish Barony of Curzon of Kedleston became extinct, the Barony and Viscountcy of Scarsdale devolved on his nephew, Richard Nathaniel Curzon, and the Barony of Ravensdale on his eldest daughter, Lady Mary Irene Curzon.
