On her death the Barony of Braye fell into abeyance between her four daughters:  Hon Maria Otway;  Hon Anne Arnold later Richardson;  Hon Catherine Murray later Lygon, Countess Beauchamp;  and Hon Henrietta Wyatt-Edgell.  On 13 May 1879 the abeyance was terminated in favour of the youngest daughter,
