The Baronetcy of Brownlow of Humby was held by the 1st Viscount Tyrconnel from 22 Jun 1718 until his death on 27 Feb 1754 when both the Viscountcy of Tyrconnel and the Baronetcy of Brownlow of Humby became extinct. The Belton Hall estate was inherited by his only surviving sister, Anne, widow of Sir Richard Cust, 2nd Bt. Her grandson and heir, Sir Brownlow Cust, 4th Bt., was created Baron Brownlow on 20 May 1776.
