Waterford), 1st son and heir ap. of George [Villiers], 4th Viscount Grandison, by his first wife and first cousin once removed Lady Mary Leigh, 2nd dau. and cohrss. by his second wife of Francis [Leigh], 1st Earl of Chichester

Feb 1705/6 Frances Cary (dspms. 17 Jan 1768; bur. at Youghal, co. Cork), sister of Lucius Henry [Cary], 6th Viscount of Falkland, and only dau. of Edward Cary, of Caldicote, co. Monmouth, by his wife and second cousin Hon Anne Lucas, 1st dau. and cohrss. of Charles [Lucas], 2nd Baron Lucas of Shenfield, by his wife Lady Penelope Leke, 6th dau. of Francis [Leke], 1st Earl of Scarsdale, by his wife Anne Cary, sister of Henry [Cary], 1st Viscount of Falkland, and 6th dau. of Sir Edward Cary, of Aldenham and Berkhamstead, co. Hertford, and had issue:


1. Hon James FitzGerald-Villiers, styled Lord Villiers, Member of Parliament for Waterford 1730-32 (dvp. and spms. 12 Dec 1732; bur. in Hertford Church), mar. 10 Jul 1728 Jane Butler (mar. (2) as his first wife Lucius Charles [Cary], 7th Viscount of Falkland; d. 20 Dec 1751), dau. and hrss. of Richard Butler, of London, conveyancer, and had issue:

1a. Hon ..... FitzGerald-Villiers (d. an infant 1738)

2. Hon William FitzGerald-Villiers, styled Lord Villiers (b. 10 Jan 1715; dvp. 16 Dec 1739; bur. at Youghal, co. Cork)

1. Lady Elizabeth FitzGerald-Villiers, later suo jure Viscountess Grandison later suo jure Countess Grandison

On the death of the 1st Earl Grandison the Earldom of Grandison became extinct and the Viscountcy of Grandison passed to his second cousin once removed, William [Villiers], 3rd Earl of Jersey.
