The Viscountcy of de Longueville and the Barony of Grey of Ruthin was held by the Earls of Sussex from 26 Sep 1717 until 22 Apr 1799, when on the death of Henry [Yelverton], 3rd Earl of Sussex, 4th Viscount de Longueville and 18th Baron Grey of Ruthin, the Earldom of Sussex and the Viscountcy of de Longueville became extinct the the Barony of Grey of Ruthin passed to his grandson, Henry Edward Gould later Yelverton.
