The Molyneux Baronetcy was held by the Viscounts Molyneux from 22 Dec 1628 (Earls of Sefton from 30 Nov 1771) until 13 Apr 1972, when on the death of Hugh William Osbert [Molyneux], 7th Earl of Sefton and 14th Viscount Molyneux, both peerage titles and the baronetcy became extinct.
