Albany, Duke of (S, 1565 - merged in the Crown 1567) - the dukedom was granted to Henry Stuart, 1st Earl of Ross, in 1565; after his death Feb 1567 it was briefly held by his son, the Duke of Rothesay, but merged in the Crown five months later when he ascended the Throne as King James VI of Scotland
